The Big 3

Last week was a crazy and emotional week. Monday was Sydnee's 3rd birthday and also the first day I had to go back to work after my maternity leave. I felt terrible that I had to go back on her birthday. I swore that I would never work on her birthday. It was very emotional. So Jeremy took the day off to spend with her. Friday 3/27 Jeremy and I took her to the movies. Grandma and Grandpa Condie watched Lily for us. Saturday my family came down and we had a party and then went bowling. Sunday we had our own little party at our house. It was nice to have all the family together. Monday Syd got sick. Finally by Wednesday I took her to the doctor and she had and ear infection. I just wanted to be home to take care of her and hold her. What a rough week!!! I hope things go better this week.
Sydnee loves princesses. Here is her princess cake. She absolutly loved it. I wish you could have seen her face when she first saw it. It was priceless.

Movies

March 27, 2009 we took Sydnee to her first movie for her birthday. We took her to the 3D movie Monsters vs. Aliens. She loved it!!! Anytime something would come at her she would lean over to me and say, "Mommy did that get you?" It was a lot of fun.

Sugar Overload

I can't believe Syd went to bed tonight. The day started out with Mimi making some brownies. Of course Syd was right there to clean the paddles. I just want to know when it wasn't cute to have brownie batter on your face.

Then tonight I made some sugar cookies. Syd was right there eating the cookie batter. Then it was time to frost the cookies.

Yep, you guessed it. Syd was eating more frosting then what was going on the cookies. Please don't judge. I really am a good mom and don't always feed her garbage. We all have to binge once in awhile.

This is Lily just laughing it up. She has the biggest smiles and the hardiest laugh. We love her so much. She is such a good girl.

Diana Ross ain't got nothing on Syd. I love the effects of braids. She could also pass as a country western singer. What a cutie!

Blessing Day

Sunday we blessed Lily. Collette made this beautiful dress for her. Steph made her bracelet. Tami (my babysitter) made her booties. She looked so beautiful. It was such a wonderful day. We were blessed to have tons of family and friends come and support us. My house was busting at the seams, it was so full of people.

Tattle Tale

Lily was sound asleep on the couch. Sydnee put her Ariel doll in Lily's hand. She then yells at me, "Mom, Lily has my Muriel (Ariel) doll!" Obviously Lily stole it from her. I just can't believe the tattling has already started.

Whoo Hoo!!! I Passed!!!

When Lily was born the hospital checked her hearing. She wasn't passing in her left ear. So yesterday we had the go to the ISU Hearing lab and have it checked again. GOOD NEWS!!! This time she passed. I am so grateful. We fasted and prayed many, many times. I am so thankful that our prayers were answered. We are very blessed.

I guess this is what big sisters are for. Sydnee is constently squeezing Lily's cheeks saying, "She has such chubby cheeks." When I say constently I mean at least 7 times a day. I am so glad she loves her.
